· Install, (de)commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair offshore (rental) cranes.
· Perform statutory inspections on lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and prepare detailed reports of findings.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute services, aiming for timely completion and customer satisfaction.
· Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to resolve technical problems efficiently.
· Provide technical support and training to customers, assisting them in the effective operation and maintenance of cranes.
· Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions in our CRM system.
· Stay updated on relevant trends, developments, and best practices in the industry to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
· At least five years of experience as a technician in the offshore crane industry or a similar sector.
· Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
· Strong knowledge of crane operation, load dynamics, and safety protocols.
· Ability to organize, manage, and execute services both independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with customers and team members.
· Proficiency in English, in comprehension, writing, and speaking. Additional language skills are a plus.
· Willingness to travel to customer locations for installations, inspections, and repairs. Estimated international travel: 25% (negotiable).
